A Standard Appointment includes assessment and treatment of skin and toenail issues.
If this is your 1st appointment with us, the podiatrist will take a medical history. Initial assessment may include vascular assessment. This will be followed by treatment and advice based on your individual needs.
Please note: If you have musculoskeletal foot pain, or you need orthotics (structured insoles), you may need to book an MSK Assessment (e.g. heel or forefoot pain, plantar fasciitis, shin splints etc.). To do this, please contact the clinic on the telephone number below.

I am the founder and principal podiatrist at iStep Podiatry Clinics, with over 30 years’ experience. I am CORU registered, a member of Podiatry Ireland, and hold a BSc degree in Podiatric Medicine, a Postgraduate Diploma in Podiatric Surgery, and a Postgraduate Professional Credit Award in the Management of the Diabetic Foot.
At iStep Podiatry, we pride ourselves on providing specialist foot and ankle care that is gentle, evidence-based, and holistic, tailored to the unique needs of every patient.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring holistic practices and new treatments, staying active through sports, and dabbling in art, particularly oil painting. I also love travelling, reading, and continually learning about ways to support overall wellbeing.
Hi, my name is Emer and I’m a Podiatrist at iStep Podiatry. I hold a B.Sc. (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Galway, where I gained valuable experience working across both HSE and private practice settings. I am a registered Podiatrist with CORU and Podiatry Ireland. I am committed to continuous professional development which ensures I provide high-quality, patient-centred care for all foot and lower limb conditions and overall patient wellbeing. I enjoy running in my free time and have a keen interest in sports.
Hi, I’m Ava, a podiatrist from Cork. I graduated from the University of Galway in 2025 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine. I enjoy working with people and helping with their foot care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching GAA, and planning my next trip - whether that’s around Ireland or to a new country!
Hi I’m Dearbhla, a podiatrist from Mayo. I graduated from the University of Galway with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine and I am Coru registered. I enjoy meeting people and helping them with their foot care, and I’ve also had the recent opportunity to volunteer in Africa, which gave me valuable experience in community-based podiatry. Outside of work, I love travelling, running, and spending time with friends and family.
